Created as a dissertation piece, the original show was created from scratch with collaborations from Kingston University as an experimental children's show based on the environment. Despite all obstacles the show was a success and was asked to be put on at the Kingston International Youth Arts Festival the following year.

Ebert may be an eggbox but Ebert has a dream: to be recycled. He lives on a rubbish dump thriving with all sorts of creatures living in fear of The Muncher, an evil machine where waste gets burned instead of being re-used. Then one day Ebert gets snatched! how will he ever accomplish his dreams?  

Something Rotten in Tipsville introduced Ebert and the Gringgrings gang as they discovered the importance of Recycling and how even Little Egg boxes can have dreams just like you!
